Coaching & Facilitation

For Men Who Are Ready to Stop Hiding From Themselves

I help ambitious men get out of their own way and into better relationships with themselves and the people around them.

Greg Brocato

Welcome

Who am I?

I'm Greg Brocato, a coach, facilitator, and writer based in New York City. I've competed at the highest level in two sports — US Olympic Swimming Trials and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu World Championships — started two companies of my own, and spent years navigating corporate America before walking away.

I used to orient toward achievement, but that was a band-aid for my self-worth. What's enabled the most growth and fulfillment has been my shift toward purpose and connection. Rebuilding my relationships, with myself and others, and getting clear on what matters has changed my trajectory.

I believe we don't have to punish ourselves to create great things, and life gets better the moment we choose love over fear.

How We Can Work Together

Three Ways to Work Together

I offer multiple ways to engage, depending on where you are and what you seek.

1:1 Coaching

We meet regularly over several months. Each session, we'll unpack what's driving the patterns in your life. You'll leave each conversation with something concrete: a clearer perspective, a next step. Over time, the way you operate will shift.

Men's Retreats

A few days away from your regular life, in nature, with a small group of men doing serious work. No distractions, no substances, no performance, no expectations. Small by design. Intimacy leads to depth.

Men's Groups

Some things only happen in a room full of men being honest with each other. I facilitate ongoing and one-time men's groups designed around vulnerability and accountability. Men are given the space and structure to open up in ways they haven't before.

My Approach

What I Believe About This Work

This is a Partnership

I'm not a guru and I don't have a proprietary method. What I have is curiosity, attention, and lived experience with the patterns I've seen in myself and the men I work with.

Most men come in wanting to optimize. Something isn't working in their business, their relationships, their sense of where they're headed. The external challenges create an entry point. But outcomes are downstream of what's going on inside: unexamined beliefs, emotional patterns and good ole biology. That's where the work is.

The goal isn't to fix you. You're not broken. The goal is to peel back the layers so you can get clear on what you want, understand what's been getting in the way, and start showing up differently for yourself and the people around you.

"I've worked with therapists, life coaches, and read countless books and podcasts but nothing helped me see how my own emotions were sabotaging my relationships. Greg changed that. He helped me build real awareness and showed me what it actually looks like to lead with emotional clarity. What sets Greg apart is that this isn't abstract — he models it. I've seen tangible shifts in how I show up with the people closest to me. Everyone says they want deeper relationships. Greg gives you practical ways to actually build them."

Hudson Valley Men's Retreat

October 23–25, 2026  ·  Ancramdale, NY

Three days in the Hudson Valley with seven other men. We'll slow down, tune in, and do the kind of work that's hard to do alone, or anywhere that feels like regular life. Facilitated by myself. Spaces are limited and usually fill through word of mouth.
